MoneyLive (Y9-11): Safeside at Eastside.

Being money savvy is important for all ages. However, teaching young people to budget, save and spend wisely need not be dull!

Our MoneyLive programme for KS3/4 is fun and interactive and has been devised in partnership with Nationwide Building Society. Our volunteer team host the programme in role as people who live and work in Safeside village.

All activities are based in the Village using our full size house, Nationwide branch, Co-op store, bus and court room. The programme uses real scenarios pupils can relate to such as saving, opening an account, managing income and expenditure, online money safety, finding special offers and using an ATM. They also discover the potential dangers of entering into loan agreements.

It’s a great opportunity for pupils to see the relevance of maths in everyday life.

Our aim is increase confidence and skill levels for all our visitors and create an experience that will stay with them for years to come.
