Our Bright Sparks Programme is designed for children in nursery and reception classes. It gives children the opportunity to have a tour of a working fire station and dress up like firefighters. Included in the visit is a tour of the appliance bay and pole room and if available the opportunity to get close to a fire engine and take photographs.
At the end of the tour the children will be read a story by a member of Safeside staff. There is a maximum limit of 30 children per tour. However, we can provide a classroom for an additional group, supervised by your staff, to enable larger groups to attend and save on coach costs.
This visit will last between 45 minutes to an hour and there is a fee of £1 per child to help towards costs.
